Musical Revue

David Lasch, Writer

This weekend marks the last major show that the Theatre Department will show this year. On Friday and Saturday, May 6 and 7th, the Musical Theatre class will show their annual production of Musical Revue. Musical Revue is a conglomeration of 30 different musicals with a song from each. Each member of the ensemble will perform their own solo, as well as many group songs.

It consists of about 2 hours worth of show time, with a 15 minute intermission. Over the course of several months, the class has worked on the show. You may see many references to previously done shows this year throughout the performance, which adds to the fun of the show.

The show is directed by both Mrs. Muckley and Mr. Mumford, as the class is co-taught by both teachers. A lot of the show is choreographed by the students, however. Laci Jackson, Mason Bates, and Avery Bennett all helped out choreograph the show.

You can come see all the hard work and effort on stage at 7:00 PM On both Friday and Saturday of this week. Come see it, you won’t regret it. Come support your fellow panthers in what, for some, is their last highschool performance.
