Choir UIL
April 14, 2022
Our choirs competed in UIL Sight Reading and Stage Performance April 11th and 12th at Carroll Sr. High School.
For some context, choir UIL is scored from 1-3, 1 being the best. If a choir gets a 1 in both sight reading and stage, it is called sweepstakes.
Choraliers competed first on Monday, taking home a 1 in sight reading and 2 on stage. Tenor Bass went next, getting a 1 on stage and 2 in sight reading. Varsity Women went last on Monday, getting sweepstakes! Varsity Men would have competed, but due to unfortunate circumstances they didn’t have enough rehearsal time and decided to drop out.
On Tuesday, Panther Chorale competed and also took home sweepstakes.
Good job, choirs!
