Coming soon to a theatre near you: the theatre program is to produce their second show of the year following The Mousetrap, which took place late September. This week, you can come see the production of Our Town, written by Thornton Wilder.

Our Town is being directed by Barton Faulks, the Technical Director of the Theatre Department. Faulks has produced many shows in his time here along with Cameron Mumford, who will be producing another show later this year: Thoroughly Modern Millie.

Actors such as Alexis Wong, Deric Marsh, Ella Hutchens, Jake Dalton, Mason Bates, Sophi Wright, Petra Hensly, Luke Radandt, and Hunter Rayburn are all making an appearance in this show, along with many other people that you may know. Our Town’s stage manager is Isabel Quigly, along with her assistant managers Chris Burney and Jillian Davis.

The cast and crew have been working hard now for over a month in preparation for this show and are very excited to show the world what they have accomplished. The students had a relatively short time to memorize their lines, and the crew had a limited amount of time to get the set up to standards, but they worked hard and got it done.

Our Town is being performed on Thursday, November 11th, Friday, November 12th, and Saturday, November 13th at 7:00pm. General admission costs $10, so if you have spare time you should stop by! The production will take place at the auditorium located directly next to the Panther Den.
