Panthers of the Week (9/27-10/1)
September 30, 2021
Ryan Bieryla, senior
Ryan is involved in Panther Chorale, Ovation Jazz, and Vocal Applied Music here at CHHS. He is also a member of the Panther Chamber Choir that rehearses after school. He attended Heritage Middle School and decided to take choir in 7th-grade.
Over time, he has found “such a firm family unit within the choir program. We all come from different walks of life, take part in different activities, and hold different thoughts and beliefs, but I find such beauty in the unification rooted in an unwavering desire to make beautiful music,” said Bieryla. He finds joy in singing and plans to continue through college and long into his future.

Laura See, junior

Laura plays on the varsity volleyball team. This school year will be her third year on the team. She always strives to do her best, not just for herself, but for the team as well. She wants to push herself to the best of her ability and knows that if she makes a mistake, her team has her back.
Currently, the varsity team has only lost one game and are 5 and 1. They are ranked 1st in the district. Balancing school and volleyball due to practices, games, and tournaments “…can be a little challenging at times, but it’s worth it,” said See.
Addie Miller, sophomore

Addie is a part of Ms. Eby’s Concert Band. Her sister encouraged her to continue with band into her freshman year. She began taking band class in sixth-grade at Heritage Middle School. Addie enjoys the community created between her peers in band and band director.
Performing at pep rallies and football games is a huge honor and she thinks that “it’s fun to step out of your comfort zone and to show off what everyone has been working on.”
